Who is Mark Laymon?
Entrepreneur. Creator. Adventurer. A life in motion, driven by curiosity and rebuilt through experience. With a touch of mischief.
I’ve spent my life chasing ideas that refuse to sit still — building spaces, stories, and experiences that connect people to what’s possible.
Every project is another experiment in motion, another chance to learn what makes us create, adapt, and thrive.
Curiosity drives me. Creation defines me. Mischief keeps me grounded.
The Story Behind the Storyteller.
Every Chapter Begins Somewhere.
I grew up curious — the kind of kid who took things apart just to see how they worked. That curiosity turned into a lifetime of building: from community meet-ups and coworking spaces to creative startups that blended tech, storytelling, and a bit of mischief.
I never waited for permission to start. I learned early that ideas only matter when you push them into the real world, see what breaks, and rebuild stronger.
“Curiosity isn’t something I learned — it’s the thread that’s guided every chapter.”
Turning Curiosity Into Creation.
My work has always been an extension of my questions.
- Startup Clubhouse explored how community fuels entrepreneurship.
- Revive Local reimagined how people can rescue struggling small businesses together.
- Hurricane Bug Out documents preparation and resilience when storms hit.
- Dirt Roads Life celebrates the spirit of overlanding and discovery.
- MemeBot Capital dives into the unpredictable world of crypto and AI-driven trading.
Each project is a chapter — different story, same author.
The Work in Motion
Life, like every great project, is a work in progress. I’ve built communities that thrived, launched ventures that failed, and learned lessons that shaped everything I do today.
Every setback was another blueprint. Every rebuild, another story worth telling.
From coworking to crypto, from storytelling to storm chasing — it’s all part of one continuous experiment: to live creatively, think independently, and stay in motion.
The perfect life is never found — it’s built
I’m not just building projects; I’m designing experiences that help people rediscover what excites them — and maybe, what scares them a little too.
That’s where real growth happens. That’s where life gets interesting.
